Practice makes perfect

Since promising his Grandpa Wood that he will be able to ride his new bike by the next time he sees him, Brandon has been a little man on a mission. On Monday, he needed a lot of help starting off on his bike. By Tuesday, he was starting on his own, but Mom couldn't watch him until he was off and going. By Wednesday, he was starting on his own and even let me watch...great strides in such a short time. He usually rides for about a minute or two...until he hits an incline in the yard and his little legs can't pedal strong enough.

He is definitely proud of his accomplishments, especially for riding in the grass (you see his bike is too big for our cars, so he's been practicing at home in the yard until he and his Dad get a bike transport hitch this weekend.)
