Updates

This past weekend, Mr. B had a baseball game and was awarded the "game ball" for the triple he hit...he also got hit twice by a pitcher, but it didn't seem to hurt him. He was very excited and couldn't wait to tell Mike (who was in Brazil). He said it was one of his most prized possessions!.

He had another game last night and we were able to visit with Alyce and Jon and the kids. There was a much better playground at the field we played at last night, so they were playing non-stop. Mr. B's team was leading 6-4 at the end of the fifth inning (with 10 minutes left before the 2 hour limit), so the coaches opted to let them play one more inning. Unfortunately, Mr. B's team forgot how to field a ball and ended up losing 8-7. Mr. B was mildly upset, but soon forgot about it (I think Alyce's homemade cookies were a good distraction;o)

We have another game on Wednesday and then one on Saturday (which Mike will be home for).

The major event of the week is our 15th year wedding anniversary on the 26th. Mike will be traveling back home but won't arrive until Friday. I can't believe it's been 15 years already (and that our little boy is turning 10 in a couple weeks;o)

P.S. Please continue to pray for my Grandma as she seems to have taken another turn for the worse this week.
