Miss Monkey is very anxious about Easter. She knows that Easter is when we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead to save us from our sins. But to my seven-year daughter, her excitement is really about one thing. The Easter Bunny.
Tonight before bed, she insisted that she had to leave a treat for the Easter Bunny (because he's like Santa Claus, you know).

And here is the treat. One hard boiled, decorated Easter egg and a handful of carrots (because bunnies LOVE carrots).
Oh, to be a child again.
