I'm so proud of my little sister (yes, I take pleasure in saying "little" because she's 5'10" and I'm 5'3" on a good day...but i digress).
This week she was layed off from her job. But she has forged ahead with such energy and optimism. For you see, this "setback" is actually an answer to her prayers...in a big way. For the past 5 years, she has been running her own Nothing But Chocolate and business has picked up a lot recently. Enough so that it was becoming increasingly challenging to keep up with her chocolate business while continuing with her full-time marketing job.
The layoff, you see, is a blessing (albeit a scary one) in disguise.
And in her first week as a full-time chocolatier, she has been interviewed for a potential article in GLAMOUR Magazine. We're keeping our fingers crossed that her story actually makes it into the magazine. Amanda seems to have really impressed the reporter though...enough so that she wrote about Amanda on her own blog
Keep up the GREAT work Amanda! You're well on your way to making your dreams come true!

Wow! What wonderful publicity for Amanda! She sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders. I hope she gets the GLAMOUR mention.
Oh, how awesome is that? And, now I really need some chocolate or a caramel covered apple after heading over there.
Oh Krystyn, they are so Yummy! Is it bad that I've already dipped into the Easter candy I got for the kids. It was only one strawberry creme egg...so far ;-)
