4th Grade...at last

The summer has flown by (don't they always) and Mr. B is officially back to school. I took a few shots of him before the bus came. Despite saying that he wasn't looking forward to going to school, he certainly was anxious to get there this morning. He set his alarm and was ready to go by 7 a.m. (we didn't need to leave until 7:25). We left the house early and spent some time visiting with Carol while we waited for the bus (Mr. B gets on and off the bus at his day care providers).

He was anxious to go out and wait for the bus in the driveway, but the bus ended being 20 minutes late. When the bus finally came he said he wanted me to stand back (he didn't want to get embarassed by his mom ;o) I still managed to get a quick photo anyway.





Tomorrow, Miss Monkey meets her teacher in the morning for about an hour and then her first day of kindergarten is on Wednesday. She is going half days, so she'll be riding a bus to school on her own, but will be on the same bus as Mr. B when the return. He made his mother proud today when he said he'd look after her and would even let Miss Monkey sit with him on the bus.
